Dr Phani Prakhya BDS, MSc, PGDip
Dr Phani Prakhya is ardent about cosmetic dentistry and is very keen in showcasing dental artistry through his smile makeovers. Along with a devotion to compassionate, gentle dental care, he has an exceptional eye for aesthetic perfection and pays close attention to detail to produce finest possible treatments for a wide array of dental problems.

Dr Prakhya is warm and friendly and is often appreciated for his meticulous work. He is dearly complimented by his patients as a dental perfectionist. Having an unparalleled enthusiasm for his profession, Phani is passionate in providing his patients with the very best modern dentistry has to offer. He has an honest approach and prides himself on taking time to ensure his patients are fully informed. His empathetic nature allows him to meet patients' goals and exceed their expectations.

Whilst loving cosmetic makeovers, Phani also enjoys others aspects of dentistry and delivers high quality restorative and preventative treatments with a strong emphasis on long term success options.

With an innate desire to be able offer every dental solution, Phani also underwent extensive training in Implant dentistry and is fully capable of giving an Implant based solution to your dental problems. He also pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics and started offering clear aligner solutions to mild to moderate cases, using Invisalign.
He is committed to changing the stereotypes of dentists and the experience of visiting a dentist. He always strives to offer the highest level of care for even the simplest of treatments.

Phani has graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and has moved to Australia in 2007. While pursuing Master of Science degree at University of Wollongong, he cleared the Australian Dental Council qualification and started working with Dr Paul Li, at Kempsey, in 2010. After working for Dr Li for few years, Phani has owned the Kempsey practice in 2013. In 2018, Phani started serving the Manning valley as well alongside Dr Charles Everingham. In 2023, Phani has started working along side Dr Mark Brisley and is serving the Hastings region.

Phani met his soulmate Dr Navya Prakhya in the same dental school and got married in 2010. They have two lovely children Mayukh and Mihira.
​
Phani is very involved in the Indian community in the mid north coast area of NSW, Rotary Club of Kempsey and recently danced his way to winning the Stars of the Macleay Valley competition in Kempsey which raised much needed funds for the Cancer Council. In his spare time, alongside enjoying family and friends, Phani loves photography, craft work and dancing. He is currently living his childhood dream of learning Kuchipudi, one of the 8 classical Indian dance forms, and performs at social events in the Mid North Coast.
