Is root canal treatment as bad as people say?
Modern root canal therapy is far more comfortable than its reputation suggests. With complete local anaesthesia, most patients describe feeling pressure — nothing more. Most appointments take around 60–90 minutes.
What happens if I delay treatment?
We’ll tell you what we found and what we’d recommend. The timing is yours. We’ll give you our honest view — including what might happen if you wait — without pushing you into a decision.
How many appointments does a crown take?
Typically two appointments: one to prepare the tooth and take impressions, and a second to fit the permanent crown. We’ll place a temporary crown between appointments to protect the tooth.
Will my filling be noticeable?
No. We use tooth-coloured composite resin matched to your natural enamel shade. The result is seamless and indistinguishable from your surrounding teeth.
Are restorative treatments available at all three clinics?
Yes. Fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions are all available at our Kempsey, Port Macquarie and Taree clinics. Call whichever location is most convenient.
